Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2, 2026 · These terms govern your use of the Voqua Chrome extension and voqua.app website.
1. Acceptance
By installing the Voqua extension or using any part of the voqua.app website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Voqua. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Tech & Sols ("we", "us", "Voqua").
2. Service description
Voqua is a Chrome browser extension that translates WhatsApp Web messages and voice notes using AI. The extension reads content from web.whatsapp.com only for the purpose of translation and does not modify, store, or transmit your messages beyond what is necessary to perform the translation.
3. Free tier
Free accounts are subject to daily usage limits (currently 30 translations and 5 voice note transcriptions per day). These limits may change with 30 days notice. Free access may be withdrawn at any time for accounts that abuse the service.
4. Paid subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Lemon Squeezy, our authorized payment processor and merchant of record.
- Lemon Squeezy handles all sales tax, VAT, and GST obligations on our behalf.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Prices are listed in USD and may vary by region due to local taxes applied by Lemon Squeezy.
5. Refund policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your first payment, email support@voqua.app with your order confirmation and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds are not available after 7 days or on subsequent billing cycles.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Voqua to translate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Voqua extension or API.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Voqua or your license key to others.
- Use automated scripts or bots to exceed free-tier rate limits or simulate paid-tier access.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or license validation.
7. WhatsApp Terms compliance
Voqua is a read-only translation tool. It does not automate sending messages, does not access the WhatsApp API, and does not scrape contact data. Use of Voqua does not guarantee compliance with WhatsApp's Terms of Service — you remain solely responsible for ensuring your use of WhatsApp complies with Meta's terms.
8. No warranty on translation accuracy
AI translations are approximations. Voqua provides translations on an "as-is" basis with no warranty of accuracy. Do not rely on Voqua translations for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical communications. Always verify important translations with a qualified human translator.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech & Sols shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Voqua, including any losses arising from mistranslations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
10. Intellectual property
Voqua, its logo, and associated branding are the property of Tech & Sols. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for personal or business purposes as described herein.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify active paid subscribers by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lahore, Pakistan, except where prohibited by law.
