Text and audio are sent over HTTPS to our server (hosted on Vercel). Our server forwards them to Google Gemini API (operated by Google DeepMind) for translation and transcription. Google's API terms prohibit using this data for model training without consent. After the API response is returned to your browser, the data is not retained on our server. You can review Google's API data usage policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

The Voqua extension stores settings, usage counters, and your language preferences in chrome.storage.local (browser-local, never synced to a server). No third-party cookies are set. The voqua.app website does not use cookies.

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have purchased a paid plan and wish to delete your license record from our database, email us at privacy@voqua.app with your license key and we will delete it within 5 business days.

Voqua is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our data practices change and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Voqua after changes constitutes acceptance.
